Bio
Desmarii
I’m an EDM producer who grew up in a small town in Maryland, where electronic music was my way out and my way forward. Artists like deadmau5, Knife Party, Skrillex, and Boris Brejcha were my gateway—hearing how they built worlds out of sound is what made me want to create my own. Those tracks were the thing I put on when nothing else made sense, and over time they went from just being songs I loved to becoming the blueprint for the kind of artist I wanted to be.
Before I ever opened a DAW, I was that kid who signed up for every music class possible. I spent about six years in band, with over three years in jazz band and marching band. I took guitar, piano, and advanced theory—anything that let me understand music deeper, not just as a listener but as a musician. That background gave me a solid foundation in rhythm, harmony, and performance, and it still shapes how I write melodies, build chords, and structure my tracks today.
I started producing in 2018 with a free version of FL Studio that I downloaded just to experiment. I had no idea what I was doing, but I was obsessed. When my dad found out how serious I was, he backed me—he bought me the full software and some basic gear so I could really dive in. That moment flipped a switch for me. Since then, I’ve been locked into the grind: learning sound design, refining my style, and pushing toward a real career in the music industry.
Now I focus on dark, heavy electronic music—high-energy, emotional, and sometimes a little aggressive. My goal is simple: turn everything I’ve lived, learned, and felt into tracks that hit hard, connect with people, and earn me a place in the scene I grew up idolizing.
